Day 1 - Amman
Welcome to Jordan - you will be met Queen Alia International Airport and transferred to our hotel in Amman. Tonight we have dinner and trip briefing together. Meals: D

Day 2 - Amman City Tour/ Jerash/ Amman (130 Km)
After breakfast we visit the incredible ruins of the Amman Roman theatre, the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace, as well as the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. You then have some free time for walking/shopping in the old downtown area of the city before we head off to visit the Greco-Roman City of Jerash, also known as the City of the Thousand Columns. Jerash showcases the grandeur of Imperial Rome (and is sometimes referred to as the Pompeii of the East). It is considered one of the largest, and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. As the most pristine Decapolis City (meaning ten cities in Greek) in the modern world, Jerash's prosperity can be admired in the colonnaded main street and lovely Oval Piazza. In the late afternoon we head back to Amman for a lovely dinner. Overnight at hotel Meals: B, L, D

Day 3 - Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Wadi Mujib - Kerak - Dana (260 Km)
Today we have a whole day to explore the King's highway, which was once part of the ancient Silk Road. We visit the Christian Town of Madaba "The City of Mosaics" and the St. George church with its mosaic map of the Holy Land from Byzantine times, the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics. We also visit Bani Hamida weaving center and meet with the locals. After lunch we take a detour to visit the Monastery in Mount Nebo before continuing via Wadi Al Mujib, a deep valley offering one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. Our journey then takes us to the city of Kerak, where we visit the Crusader's Castle, with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period, and get to know the architectural military brilliance of the Crusaders. We then head south to Dana for dinner at our hotel. Meals: B, L, D

Day 4 Dana - Petra (80 Km)
Today we embark on a 2 hour Village Tour, visiting some spectacular viewpoints above Dana Village, exploring the terraced gardens and local community craft workshops. We have lunch at Dana Village with locals and then head on to Petra. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Meals: B, L, D

Day 5 - Petra
Today we explore the amazing Petra, aptly described as the "rose-red city, half as old as time". The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. You will be in awe of the colourful rocks and intricate rockhewn stone facades. We take a guided tour of the valley, and after lunch there is free time to hike up to the famous monastery. In the evening we enjoy a cooking course and meal at the Petra Kitchen, a delightful cooking experience. Meals: B, L, D

Day 6 - Petra - Beida - Wadi Rum (125 Km)
After breakfast head off to Beida, also known as little Petra and the place where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests. We then continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan's largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. We will meet Bedouin women and learn how to make their bread. After lunch a Jeep Tour takes us deep inside the Wadi, where we enjoy a cup of traditional Bedouin tea whilst admiring the views. Tonight we sleep in a beautiful luxury campsite inside the desert under a starry Arabian sky. Meals: B, L, D

Day 7 - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea (330 Km)
After breakfast we head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth located 395 meters below sea level. You will love floating in its unique salty waters, and your skin will soft as a baby's afterwards. Free time at leisure. We have lunch and dinner at our hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea. Meals: B, L, D

Day 8 - Dead Sea - Departure (60 Km)
After breakfast we transfer to the airport and say good to this fascinating and magical land! Meals: B
