Gin o'clock

Venus Adventures
About

Gin O'clock

- an important part of the

Venus Adventures day!

"Come on girls, it's time for your medication!" you will hear someone cheekily call out - we know what that means - it's time for us to come together, relax, chew over the events of the day, discuss what's coming up in the program for the coming day/s, have a gasbag, a chinwag, and a belly-laugh together. We love it!

Gin o'clock  - usually one hour before dinnertime - has become an important part of the Venus Adventures day. You don't have to be a gin drinker - you can drink water for all we care - it's more about coming together and connecting with your fellow female adventuresses. You might like to say, it's the "glue" that holds us together for an hour or so before dinner! And we have it in exotic places - sometimes in the dunes of the Sahara, sometimes next to the hotel pool, sometimes even in someone's room if need be!

How does it work? Anyone who fancies a gin at gin o'clock brings a bottle from their country - so we get quite a variety of bottles and flavours - and we open one bottle at a time. We take turns at buying the tonic water along the way.
